- The stocktaking service is designed to meet the needs and configuration of the client. The whole package is designed from the clients’ viewpoint and applies to both food and liquor. This service links to the compliance audit but can be used totally independent of it.
- Periodic Stock Results: Undertaking physical liquor or food stocktaking and producing a computerised stock result on the day that covers periods agreed with the client. The result is discussed thoroughly with the manager, highlighting any variances between the potential and actual margins and identifying the reasons for those differences
- Each of the reports we publish provides a full audit trail for revenue, cost prices, stock holding, stock turnover, purchase invoices, allowances, consequently reconciling to any internal system.
- We can tailor or design a stock audit service that integrates and adds to any internal controls or software that is currently operated at restaurants or bars. We accept that Managers Own Stock Takes (MOST) are embedded in many bar administration and control systems but these are not the absolute solution. In the ever-changing climate of EPOS and back of house systems there is often a requirement for an audited and/or certificated independent count and valuation.
- We can interpret internal reports, till details and programming, revenue, purchases and valuations to carry out comprehensive, forensic stock audits and investigations that have a direct impact on the gross margin.
