M-R-S's Forensic Auditing Services will work with your management team to monitor and measure the effectiveness of existing internal control systems, helping to achieve your business goals by managing and eliminating risks that threaten efficiency or in anyway negatively impact on financial performance. And, where these existing control systems may be inadequate or out of date we feedback and advise on how these might be improved and implemented.

To ensure continued effectiveness any audit programme must be dynamic and responsive to change. Risks can increase or arise for a host of reasons: organisational restructuring, changes in the reporting process or the adoption of new or updated information systems. So we continually revisit and reassess programmes to ensure ongoing validity and effectiveness. Each audit programme, its timing, content and deliverables, is tailored specifically to individual requirements so that all significant risks (operational, financial, compliance or of any other nature) are identified and assessed on an ongoing basis.

As a significant part of our brief is the sharing of information with nominated contacts (traditionally within the Finance and Audit departments) we provide regular, formal reporting on a branch as well as area basis. Specific emphasis is put on poor performing branches. Ongoing Annual Reviews are conducted with the external auditors. Where timing is of the essence, and in the case of such risks it invariably is, uniquely m-r-s’s clients have access to an audit by 7.00 am the following day.
